“ 12×5 ” is the second American studio album by the English rock band The Rolling Stones , recorded between February 25, 1964 and September of the same year, released in November 1964, following the success of their debut album in the US . It is an expanded version of the “Five by Five” EP, which followed their first UK album. The five songs from the British EP were supplemented with seven additional tracks to complete the LP. Among these additional tracks was a theme from the UK single "It's All Over Now", a version of a Bobby Womack song that was the group's first UK No. 1 hit, an alternate version of "Time Is on My Side". Between 1964 and 1965, the album reached #3 on the Billboard 200 and #2 on the Australian chart (Kent Music Report).
The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in London in May 1962. They are one of the most enduring and commercially successful groups in rock history. The band was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 (Performer). More information about this exceptional British group is already included on this blog.
